Sports action photography
With the Olympics coming up, sports are being highlighted and dramatic action shots on print or canvas can make a fantastic record of achievement and work of art.
You do not however need to be an Olympian you may just be someone who enjoys sport and would like an image to treasure.
You could be an archer, golfer, gymnast, horse rider, martial artist, sports / 4x4 enthusiast, etc.
Using some specialised equipment we are able to take some unique sports action photographyusing strobe or stop action photography.

Microscope photography / photo micrography / microphotography / Macro photography
Microphotography and Macro photography have educational, scientific, industrial and aristic uses. We have an Olympus SZH10 microscope coupled to a Canon 5D MkII 21 Mega Pixel camera to produce very high resolution microscope images and macro lenses.
Stop action photography
You have probably seen some stop action photography like a bullet hitting a target, a ballon being burst and many more.
This photograpic technology has a number of uses including:
- Artistic.
- Industrial.
- Scientific.
- Sports & action.
The primary use of stop action photography is to capture fast movement this could be an archer shooting an arrow, a golfers swing, an industrial machine or process. The reason for using stop action photography may be purely artistic, to capture an industrial process / problem or record some scientific event.
Stop action photography and some strobe photography can provide a more cost effective method of capturing events than using very high speed video.
