Event & party photography
We do teenage photo parties!!!, adult parties & toddler photo shoots
Photo parties are ideal for teenagers and can also be done for adult groups. We do similar photo shoots for toddler groups and children. Photo parties are an excellent way to have a unique fun party, learn something, create lasting memories and increase group bonding.
We bring a range of studio lighting equipment, backdrops, cameras and some of our props. We suggest that all party goers are invited to bring a collection of clothing (smart, casual, sports or if you wish fancy dress) and other items that can be used as props (hats, scarves, musical instruments, sports equipment etc.).
While we will arrange a range of activities, we invite the host and party goers to contribute their own ideas and activity suggestions; in this way each party is tailored the party goers.
Photo parties provide a great opportunity for all the party goers to get together before the event to plan what to wear, props they would like to bring, poses they would like to try, things they would like to do etc.
The party
The venue needs to be booked for at least 4 hours. It takes 1 hour for us to setup our equipment during which time the party goers can do hair, makeup and get dressed. We then do a 2 hour shoot during which time we will generally take over 100 images giving plenty of photos to select momento images from. Some of the images will be staged, while others will be candid or activity images. We normally take a range of group / activity shots and individual portraits.
Our standard package includes 25 standard A4 sized prints (approx 8" x 8" for square formated images) at £160.00. We will arrive at your venue about an hour before the start of the photo shoot to setup our equipment. We suggest that all the party goers also arrive one hour before we start shooting so they can get dressed and do hair and makeup. Additional or larger images photographic prints can be ordered (£10.00 per A4 image or £20.00 per A3 image). Images can also be provided on other media on request including canvas, acrylic, aluminium and CD on request. Slide shows are also available on DVD (HDTV) at £75.00 for a set of 10 DVD´s with upto 50 images.
A typical photo party will start with any portrait shots in smart / casual gear as this will be just after makeup is finished before moving on to the action and group activities.
The venue
We suggest the party is held at a local hall of sufficient size for the group and activities being done, a quick guide is a hall big enough to play badminton. Most local halls, school halls and Church halls are suitable. In general we suggest a hall about 9 meters (30 feet) wide x 15 meters (50 feet) long. The minimum recommended ceiling height is 3.0 meters (10 feet) however for activities like jumping on a trampette the height in the center needs to be about 4 meters (13 feet), with a minimum ceiling height at the walls of about 3.0 meters (10 feet).
As most party goers will have a few changes we suggest using a hall where there is a seperate area that can be used as a changing room. In some cases this could be the ladies toilets or kitchen area or a screened off area of the main hall if it is large enough. Please ensure that we have about 9M x 15M for the shoot area. The venue needs to have easy vehicular access so we can offload our equipment directly into the venue.

Please ensure that the venue you select will enable us to park our car close to the doorway has we bring about a quater of a ton of equipment so have a lot to move into and out of the hall.
While we have done photo parties in smaller locations it will limit some of the activities we can safely do.
Halls in Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas
Party size
The number of party goers varies typically from about 6 to 12. For teenage parties we suggest about 8 to 12 which is enough to create the group dynamics and not too many that we cannot give everyone enough time for some personal portrait shots. With toddler groups a slightly smaller group of about 6 to 8 toddlers is about right.
Food and drink.
If the hall you will be using has a seperate area where you can provide food and drink we suggest that this is arranged for just after we finish shooting. If using the same area as is being used for the photo shoot please arrange for food and drink about one hour after the end of shooting so we have time to clear all our equipment first. We do not suggest food and drink is available until the end of the shoot for obvious reasons.
Unlike an outside parties, photo parties which are held inside are very unlikly to be affected by the weather.
Additional prints, canvases, editing and slide shows are also available.
We can convert images into 'Pop art' or do special editing as an optional extra. Additional prints, canvases or acrylic images of various sizes can also be supplied on request and slide shows on CD.
Shows and events

Due to the wide range of events and photographic requirements we need to discuss your individual requiremets in order to assess the pricing. In general pricing is based on the time taken and any travelling costs.
